The Northstar Northwind 18'9" StarLite offers the same legendary stability as the flagship Northwind 17, with the extra length providing a little more comfort for a third paddler, the family dog, or simply more gear. No need to debate the Dutch oven and camp chairs — the Northwind 18 is ready to haul it all.
Finished with timeless wood trim: oiled ash gunwales, sculpted and laminated walnut and ash end decks, walnut and ash laminated contoured web seats hung on walnut drops, and walnut and ash laminated yoke and thwarts with tie-down loops. Wood trim adds approximately 3 lbs to the canoe weight.
