TuffStuff composite built to take a hit
TuffStuff is a blend of basalt weave cloth and Innegra, a polypropylene-based fiber, giving the hull superb impact resistance and on-water stiffness for great responsiveness and tracking. A gel-coat finish keeps it looking sharp trip after trip.

The Nova Craft Trapper traces its roots to the Chestnut Canoe Company, originally designed for the outdoorsmen of the early 1900s — a craft capable of paddling small creeks and large lakes alike, small enough to portage through wilderness trails that barely existed at the time. That same versatile spirit carries through to the modern Trapper.
For today's canoeist, the Trapper offers reassuring primary and secondary stability without sacrificing speed. It has plenty of space for everything from a day of fishing to a week of backcountry tripping, and it's a great canoe for refining your J-stroke or paddling with a double blade. The Trapper combines the stability of a fishing platform with the light, portable size needed for portaging into small, productive lakes. Made in Canada.
