This is the Friday's Finds, where we seek to highlight some of the paddlers who call Virginia home. PaddleVa is about all of us. While some of the stuff shared in these posts will come from outside our waters, Virginia will always be the primary focus.

First Up:

Kayak Kevin has been targeting Virginia Red Drum for a long time. He has a special affinity for the big bulls unique to the area around VA Beach. So, when he says learn these techniques or don't come fishing for these beautiful fish, well, we listen. You should too. Thanks Kev!

Second Up:

The Free Fall Visuals crew hit up the Great Falls Race on the Potomac. Here's some killer footage they shot with the winners listed at the closing. Check it out!

Bobby Rae continues to get after it. He recently waded out into the Appomattox River right down the road from us and picked up a decent smallie. Well, you got my attention.

Tijo Media has long been producing quality media in RVA. This time they film some of the Richmond whitewater crew throwing down on some low head dam action. And yes, they include an excellent disclaimer. Well Done folks!

Mark Vlaskamp has completed his killa paddling journey, but don't call it a "once in a lifetime" trip. Everybody should travel, and do it often. We had the great pleasure of hosting Mark for a day and had a blast. I've read every blog post. You should too. They're that good. Click the link after the pic to get the scoop.
