RVA Whitewater, Kayak Fishing, SUP and Grub. Plus a Gorilla.
Check out all the quality content coming from our community of paddlers, both whitewater kayaking and kayak fishing. Tune in, read up and get psyched. This is the Friday's Finds, where we seek to highlight some of the paddlers who call Virginia home. PaddleVa is about all of us. While some of the stuff shared in these posts will come from outside our waters, Virginia will always be the primary focus.
We're going to come in RVA heavy up front this week.
First Up:
The King Of The James race is this Sunday! If you're unfamiliar with this slice of awesome pie, check out the video from last year's event, the first. This is a serious triathlon showcasing the urban outdoor steez that RVA embodies. For more info: https://kingofthejames.com/

Second Up:
Recently RVA hosted the World's First High School Whitewater SUP Race on the James River. Be Moore, BIC SUP Pro, and Cooper Sallade, Dagger Kayaks Pro, helped bring it together. Elli Morris whipped up this sweet little video highlighting the event. Check it out. I think this is pretty cool and the kids seem psyched!
