Angling Tips, BRO whitewater, Wildy bonding, Big Shoalie, Fishing Wives, the Mighty Mississippi
Check out all the quality content coming from our community of paddlers, both whitewater kayaking and kayak fishing. Tune in, read up and get psyched. This is the Friday's Finds, where we seek to highlight some of the paddlers who call Virginia home. PaddleVa is about all of us. While some of the stuff shared in these posts will come from outside our waters, Virginia will always be the primary focus.
Josh Dolin, of Fish Hard or Stay Home, has been featured many times here. He chases trophy fish and always seems to find them. In this video Josh lays out some of his tactics for success. This is a great video for those who are looking to step up their game. Check it out.
Jessica Weigandt is a fellow BRO Athlete and continues to paddle head-on into some awesome whitewater kayaking adventures. This is the second video of hers that I've featured. Looks like she's having fun and paddling some great places! Check it out.

Forrest Short, a Wildy Pro, is a local legend in the angling community. I love that the first piece of his for Wildy is about taking his son out on the water. If this doesn't make you catch some warm and fuzzys, then you might be dead. Click the link below the photo for the full story.

The Bitter Southerner is a web-zine that routinely puts out great stories from the south. Wild Miles on the Big River is the story of John Ruskey and his love for the Mississippi River. He's compiling a book, 1,000 pages in length, about paddling the mighty Mississippi. This is a beautiful story. Click the link below the photo for the full story.
