The Firebird offers the versatility of the Phoenix in a smaller, lighter package, drawing paddlers who want to play on flatwater or in whitewater alike.
Built in Northstar's BlackLite layup — a proprietary carbon outer with Aramid reinforcements, combining the stiffness of carbon fiber with the excellent tensile strength of Aramid. The full wet vacuum bag process and foam core artfully balance strength and weight. Exterior resin coated for maximum weight savings. For those who want significantly greater durability than StarLite while still valuing a lightweight canoe.
