We are thrilled to introduce our first two models for the 2025 season: the 12’ Scout kayak. And the 12’ Scout XC.
The Scout Kayak: Built for Every Paddler, the Scout is packed with features that cater to both novice and seasoned paddlers: Oversized cockpit: 19” wide and 36” long for ease of entry and comfort while still offering thigh contact for performance.
The XC model: has a cockpit 19” wide x 48 “ long for an even easier entry/exit and open-cockpit applications like photography/fishing or bringing along pets or small children on the adventure.
Oversized hatches: Flush 12-inch and 18-inch hatches accent the clean lines of the Scout and are easy to open and load. Custom-formed comfort seat: Height and forward lean adjustment for hours of paddling comfort. Paddle clip: For quick and convenient paddle storage and exit/entry and self-rescue assistance.
350 lb capacity: Robust and reliable for serious adventures. Two bulkheads: Open-water safety and dry storage.
Weighing just 46 pounds and 44 pounds, the Scout and Scout xc combines performance, stability, and responsive handling, making it the ideal choice for all skill levels. Our unique hull design promotes greater stability and secondary stability than other market choices in the category.
Every kayak comes with a three-year warranty and a USCG Hull Identification number.
