About this spray skirt
The J-Lo is Immersion Research's women's-specific take on the Shockwave spray skirt. Built on the same proven bungee platform, it features a shortened, more stretchy tunnel and hip panels designed to fit the female paddler — preventing bunching under the chest while ensuring a secure, comfortable seal.
- Women's-specific fit — tunnel is shortened and tapered for a narrower waist; hip panels break up the deck-to-tunnel seam for extra hip clearance without sacrificing security
- 4mm Supratex neoprene deck — durable, abrasion-resistant construction for demanding whitewater
- 10mm low-tension shock cord — easy to stretch on and off, secure enough for moderate whitewater; double-stitched for added durability
- Silicone grip strips — large strips on the underside of the casing increase implosion resistance and keep the skirt seated on the cockpit rim
- 3D grab handle — highly visible, stays open, and easy to locate for reliable wet exits
