The Northstar Firebird 13'6" StarLite takes its name from the myth of the Firebird — like the Phoenix, a symbol of reincarnation and rising from the ashes, much like Northstar itself. The Firebird offers the versatility of the Phoenix in a smaller, lighter package, drawing paddlers who want to play on flatwater or in whitewater alike.
Built in Northstar's StarLite layup — all Aramid construction with a proprietary yellow and black moiré pattern. The full wet bag process minimizes resin for the lightest weight canoe available, while foam core, ribs, and internal reinforcements create a stiff, efficient hull. Exterior resin coated for maximum weight savings. The choice of flatwater paddlers everywhere.
