The YakAttack BlackPak Pro is a fully redesigned, hard-sided kayak crate built for serious anglers. The result of over a year of R&D and collaboration, it delivers a hinged lid, 25% weight reduction over the original BlackPak, and a fully riggable GridLoc 2D mounting platform on every panel.
Construction
Injection-molded from UV-stabilized polymers with a ribbed panel structure for exceptional rigidity and minimal weight. Interlocking tongue-and-groove GridLoc panels press together securely and are fastened with included stainless steel screws — no tools required for assembly, just a screwdriver for the hardware.
Hinged Lid
The water-shedding lid features fully adjustable hinges — dial from freely pivoting to a sticky setting that holds the lid open hands-free. Integrated overtravel stops keep the lid within reach, sound-dampening rubber bumpers ensure quiet closing, and the CatchLatch retention system secures the lid securely.
TetherTube Rod Holders
Four TetherTube rod holders are included, each with an integrated (and easily removable) hook and tether system. Caged attachment points on both sides offer multiple hook points; the oversized hook can attach directly to the rod shaft. Mount high for long-butt rods, or mount low to elevate the BlackPak Pro into the HighNDry position.
Tankwell Security
Rubber feet provide noise dampening and isolation. Omni corner brackets serve as attachment points for the included YakAttack OmniHooks (4 included), carabiners, generic hooks, or bungee cord.
Storage
Optimized for a wide variety of tackle boxes — fits five 3700-sized boxes. Compatible with Plano 3700, Plano Edge, Bass Mafia Bait Coffin, Flambeau, and many more.
GridLoc Rigging Platform
The GridLoc 2D mounting system provides attachment points on the inside and outside of every panel, giving you a fully customizable platform for dividers, holders, and YakAttack accessories.
