Every week I will scour the inter-webs for cool videos, produced by people using the awesome products we sell. Of course, preference will go to our local folks, but I'll still look outside VA. Since we stock a dizzying array of different vendors, we have a wide selection to choose from, featuring a lot of talented folks. It ought to be fun and I hope you enjoy seeing sweet paddle-sports items in action. Welcome to Friday's Five Finds!

First up this week:

Katie Bernotsky, of PowerTeam Lures, ripping lips at Briery Creek Lake this past summer. Man, sure wish it was T Shirt weather right now. Can't wait to get on Briery, again, in the sun.

Wilderness Systems Ride 115 Kayak w/ High Outfitting - The Ride 115 is a great seller here at ARC. Bob and Katie of PTL both paddle Ride 115 kayaks and love them. They are such good ambassadors of the sport, both on and off the water, that we're always getting calls from folks asking for the same exact kayak set up as Bob and Katie.

Yak Attack - That set up involves plenty of Yak Attack gear. From camera mounts to stake out poles, every kayaker has different needs and Yak Attack has the products. Katie uses the Panfish Camera Pole for her patented, over the shoulder, shots.

Next up:

Brianna Molchan and crew from RVA break out the SUPs for a little late fall creeking. This video has a great nostalgic feel and the music fits perfectly. The RVA crew has really been getting after it and I'm psyched to jump in on the fun this year. I plan on taking a whitewater paddle-board class with these guys this summer, out of Riverside Outfitters.

Jackson Kayak SUP - Jackson has three SUPs, the SuperNatural for recreation, the SuperFishal for fishing, and the SuperCharger for big whitewater. The JK boards are super stable and fun.

BIC Sport SUP - The BIC boards are bomb proof and move well in the water. Local RVA BIC athlete Ben Moore, gives classes out of RO on whitewater SUPing and can often be found riding the waves on the James River downtown.

Next up:

Local RVA kayak fisherman, Rob Choi, got tapped to star in a VA is For Lovers campaign commercial. He paddles for Ocean Kayak/ Old Town as well as Werner Paddles. This video is pretty sweet. It's nice to see our home waters getting this kind of love and to see kayak fishing looking as cool as we believe it to be.

Ocean Kayak Trident 13 - The Trident is a well loved vessel for the surf breaking, offshore fisherman. This kayak moves fast and is pretty stable. Both Rob Choi and our other local legend, Kayak Kevin, paddle a Trident 13. Currently these boats are on sale, check'em out!

Werner Paddles - We have a strong VA Werner Fishing Team around here and for good reason. We have great anglers and Werner designs great paddles, plain  and simple.

Yak Attack - Once again, you can spot the Yak Attack Visi Carbon Pole as well as other YA gear. Yak Attack operates out of VA and gets a lot of love in these parts and for good reason, they have great products.

Next up:

I stumbled across this video while looking at some other snow kayaking vids. This one topped them all. Looks like the Moshannon Creekers of Central PA found a good way to enjoy the recent arctic blasts.
