    Perception

    Appomattox River Company's Bob Taylor got his first glimpse of one of Bill Master's canoes in 1976/1977 while at a canoe race in Petersburg, West Virginia. Bill's display canoe at the race prompted a phone call from Bob, resulting in Bob's first order of five boats. The rest is history as Appomattox River Company and Perception have been doing business together ever since.

    Appomattox River Company is a proud carrier of Prijon. They offer touring, double-touring and recreational kayaks. Toni Prijon Sr. founded Prijon in 1962. He was a world champion for the German whitewater (wildwasser) team. He started manufacturing Blowmolded Kayaks in the early 1980's, combining the performance of composite boats with the most durable kayak hull material in the world.

    Pyranha

    Appomattox River Company proudly carries Pyranha which has been designing, developing, manufacturing and testing award winning whitewater kayaks in Britain since 1971. Their company began after a group of paddlers took some new, cutting edge kayaks to Mount Everest and paddled down the first descent of the Dudh Kosi. Since then Pyranha strives to stay at the cutting edge of whitewater paddling and all that kayaking encompasses.
