Once again, the Appomattox River Company kayak fishing booth, at the Richmond Fishing Expo, was a crowd-pleaser. The Expo takes place at the Meadow Event park in Doswell every January. This year the event ran from the 16th to the 18th. Prior to the event, Show Manager Les Gray had asked if we'd like to represent the expo on CBS 6, Virginia This Morning. We were psyched!
On January 10th at Hardywood Brewery in Richmond, Coastal Canoeists held the Boats & Brews Film Fest, benefiting the James River Outdoor Coalition. Appomattox River Company was one of the many sponsors of the event.
Once again, winter is here. The local waters have hit frigid temps and the fishing has slowed, but if you need to get your fix, the fishing show season is upon us. The Richmond Fishing Expo goes off on January 16-18 at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell, VA and we are bringing kayak fishing to the show.
The rumors are true. If you've heard the whispers or seen our recent Facebook blast, ARC-Midlo has officially moved to Ashland! You can now shop kayaks, canoes, and SUPs in North Richmond. We're all very excited about this move as it puts us squarely in a location that many Virginia sportsmen know well.
